Golden Bock
Glissade is a remarkably mellow take on the traditional spring bock. With restrained sweetness, we emphasize subtle malt flavor balanced against delicate aromas of spicy and floral European hops. This complex balance helps Glissade slide across the palate, bracing us against the last cold nights of winter, while its bright golden color turns our thoughts toward spring.

Bottled. Hazy pale golden, small head. Light buttery nose with lots of spicy, grassy hops. Dry and grainy, lightly buttery with vital, slender and elegant malt structure and ligtly warming finish. Tasty and well made bock!

Bottle. Clear golden-orange with a medium white head. Aroma and taste was mostly bread, grass, spices, malt and honey. Boring beer that tasted too much alcohol. A Bock?

Bottle. Metallic and light malty taste. Way to light compared to what I expect from a Bock.

On tap at Datz Deli pouring up deep clear copper with gold edges and thin white head. The aroma is sugary sweet, cotton candy, some grains and hints of hoppiness. The taste begins sweet and then sways toward grainy with floral hops and a touch of spicy hops. Overall seemed to be on the sweet side.

Pours clear gold with a firm white head. Malty aroma with just a touch of hops. Sweet, medium body. A bit sweet for a Bock but easy drinking.

355ml bottle from Utobeer. Pure clean gold, thin white head. Some peachy fruit and some hop and some and a kind of fresh malt spring aroma. Very decent and drinkable bock. Again just so impressed with this brewery, there beers are just so solid and likeable. Maybe not as huge and intense as some other breweries, but most of the styles they have a go at, they make a really good beer out of it. Very solid, very drinkable. God I love lager. And this is a really good one. Very good German hop bite on the finish too. Rather good.
