Bottle (recolte 2009): Amber coloured, clear, bigger lacy off-white head; subtle dark-malty nose with a faint metallic tinge in the background, sorrounded by some alcohol; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, quite light bodied; hidden bitter traces in the moderate sweet-malty finish. Not too well balanced, but still O.K. .........

(bottle, vintage 2009) Clear, dark amber colour with a big off-white and steady foamy head. Discreet aroma: moderately sweet and toasted malty aroma with grassy and herbal hoppy notes. Sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Slightly ashy malty taste with notes of caramel and veggetables; sweet toast-malty finish with metallic hops. No highlight (20.VII.09).

bottle from my local Norma supermarket. Clear chestnut-mahogany colour, mid-sized beige head. Malty nose. Full-bodied, intensively malty with shy hints of fruit, raisins and nuts. Well rounded with herbal aromatic hops. Very shy but detectable hints of smoke. The alcohol is well disuguised, detectable only in the lingering finish. Superb stuff.

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Copper coloured, modest sweet aroma. Starts metallically and dry, becomes a bit sweeter in the finish, notes of wood. Interesting.
