Bottle traded from fonefan. Huge creamy head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are sour berries, rich caramel, toffee, malt and hops. Nice finish.

0.5l bottle. This is a grumzy unclear deep red beer with a fingersize off-white with a red-hued fluffy head. Nose is surprisingly sweet with grass, berries and yeast. Quite lively carbonated and a oily body. Tastes light berries-sour (cowberries) with sugar, and hints of wood. It all ends dry and somewhat sour. Not the best from Haandbryggeriet, but a nice experiment.

Bottle from Bier Koning. Cloudy amber beer. Small pale tan head. Crisp dry palate. Slightly tart fruit tasting vaguely like a cross between cherry, tangerine and a splash of lemon. Nice! It’s backed by a very slightly smoky pale malt. Dry palate, a bit too much so. Would have really preferred an unsmoked pale malt base to let those ’rare’ crowberries shine through! :)

Bottle. The beer had a nice, clear dark red color. White, medium head. Weak aroma of berries, fruits and some chemical notes. The taste was not too impressive but it was little better when the liquid got warmer. Berries, (maybe blueberries?), fruit, some chemical notes. A slight sourness, thin mouth feel. Medium carbonation and some notes of alcohol. Not the best one from Haandbryggeriet.

[Thanks to yngwie] Pours dark red with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of crowberries (very similar to cranberries just not as sweet) and a little caramel. Taste is light sweet and medium sour. Body is medium, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.

Draft, City Beer Store. Drinkable and refreshing with an interesting berry flavor and a sour twang. This is a nice beer and sits lightly for the abv, but it’s not really a standout for the brewery. The mouthfeel was a bit chalky, and the the berry note is somewhat muddled. There’s more caramel maltiness than I cared for. That said, the sour flavor is pleasantly mild, and the cloudberries are unfamiliar and tasty. Also, the beer has a nice funk note and some woody dryness.
