The bottle looks great, nice format. Orange in the glass, cloudy, small creamy head. Wonderful smoky-spicy aroma. Starts quite sourish, intense notes of apricot. Finish mild, but still complex sourish without being too aggreissiv, lemon notes and a bit salty, also spicy-wheaty. Very well balanced and drinkable. Yes, more of this, please!

Bottle. Light sweet nose with a woodsmoke layer. Cloudy dark yellow, lacing rim. Initial lactic on the tongue, then salty and finally smoky - more so than the Abraxxas I feel. Heather and clay, dry lactic finish - not too sour though. Sparkly dry mouthfeel. Tasty and really interresting.

Bottled, bought at pre-ZBF ’10. Hazy golden color, short frothy off-white head. Aroma of some citrus, straw, bit yeast, hint of lactic acid, bit bready, hint of tartness and barnyard, smoke. Sour taste, some caramel malt, bit grainy. Very strange combination.

Weich rauchiger Geruch, dezent zitronenartig. Im Antrunk liegt dann die zitrusartige Säuerlichkeit im Vordergrund, die Rauchigkeit wird kurzzeitig verdeckt. Später ist sie dann offensichtlicher, als die Säurenoten etwas zurückfahren. Diese wirken besonders im hinteren Teil angriffslustig und sehr jung, als Beinote ist eine deutliche Getreidigkeit auszumachen. Das Bier wirkt rund und überaus erfrischend, auch wenn es im Nachgeschmack kurz muffig wird. Gelungenes Sommerbier mit angenehmem Alkoholgehalt.

Small white rim over hazy orange beer. Smoked Rauchweizen aroma, sourish. Sourish, faint smoked ham, lactic acid, buttermilk, lemony. Extremely refreshing, quite like Berliner Weizen. Excellent try! German Beerrevolution going on. Many thanks to Sebastian - keep up the good work!
