50 cl bottle thanks to Ingo! At ekstedt’s x-mas beer tasting, on December 14, 2012.AS "Prykmestar Juolu Olut 2012", BB Apr 2013.Hazy yellow color, white head. Smoke, acidic, camp fire, ash, char coal, smoke sauna scent. Apple, sweet, light smoke taste. Sweet smoke aftertaste. Medium to thin mouthfeel, low bitterness.I tend to like smoked beers a lot, but this one was just not much for my taste.

Bottled@My birthday bash at Chriso. Slightly hazy golden colour, mediumsized head. Aroma is malts, toffee, bready and slightly spicy. Flavour is quite similar, but also has some mild smoke in it.

Bottle 500ml. @ chriso [ oh6gdx birthday bash tasting ].Clear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, toasted, fishy, plastic, smoke, bread. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium to light, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20111203]

Bottle at Pat’s birthday tasting at chriso’s. Pours clear, yellow-gold with a white head. Some light smoke in the aroma, also bread and grain. Medium sweet flavor with a nice smoke character and some sugars. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish, smoke, meat, honey. Interesting.

(Bottle, 0.5 l, 20111208) The beer poured pale golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had smoke, grain and metallicness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were smoked ham, grilled sausage, grain, metallicness, tar and bitterness. Aftertaste was grainy, smoky and bitter. I found the combination of graininess and smokedness enjoyable. The beer was also tasty when thinking of its strength. Well done Vakka-Suomen Panimo.
