Bottle. It pours a clear, golden body and a small, white head. A bit weak on the aroma, hay, grains, a generic fruityness and spicy, grassy and piney hops. The flavor is more pronounced, and equally nice. It has a malty foundation for the hops, which gives you flavors of pine cones, grass and a light spicyness. Full to medium body, dry and nicely carbonated. Certainly a beer to prove that Germany can be a wonderful beer to travel in. 110819

bottle from Bierzwerg. Clear golden colour, large white head. Malty, hoppy, hints of biscuits - not much more to say. Nevertheless a nice beer.

Bottle (purchased at the brewery): Pale golden to golden, quickly diminishing white head, no visible carbonation; faint honeyish and grainy nose with a metallic tinge; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, very light bodied for a beer of 5.6%, but a bit sticky; sweet-grainy finish. Not really convincing, unharmonic........

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a medium-sized frothy white head. Dusty, sweet and slightly grainy pale malty nose. Sweet flavour with a faint tinge of citrus-sourness, light to medium bodied with a crispy, slightly fizzy and not perfectly matured carbonation. Pale malty, quite one-dimensional taste, slightly biscuity with faint herbal notes; sweet malty finish with shy traces of hoppy bitterness. Rather unconvincing brew (26.05.08).

Bottle. Light sweet and barnyard aroma. Golden yellow color with little head. Sweet grain flavor - rather bland with not not much of any typical beer flavor. Not very good.
