Bam is an Extra Special dog. After surviving being struck by a car, daily somehow manages to avoid being carried away by the largish birds of prey gliding overhead, riding unseen thermals.

Bam's tenacity seems only to be surpassed by his oversized personality. Join us in celebration of his excess. More malt, more hops, same vivacious personality.

Cheers & Mahalo plenty!

Bottle from John’s Marketplace in Portland, OR. Beautiful reddish copper color with a large beige head. Aroma of hoppy funk. Medium body with near creamy carbonation. Flavor is smooth, mild funk, lightly bitter with (I’m guessing) floral hop. Really grabs the tongue. Just an excellent ale.

Cloudy brown with a red hue, lasting off-white head, leaving fine lace. Aroma has grapefruit, grassy hops with complex undertones. Dry and bitter flavour with caramel and biscuit malty notes and a decent hop flavour. Full body for a 4.7% beer

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with a tight off-white head covering a murky brown body. Aroma of sour citrus (classic jolly pumpkin wild aroma) with a slight tang and a bit of toffee. Taste is fruity with light brett. Small, sharp bubbles with a dry mouthfeel. Subsequent batches have been a bit of a let down with a strong raw straw flavor and huge bitterness that clashes with the the yeast/bug flavors.

"Where the Wild Beers Are" 2008. Cloudy brown color. Moderate brett in the aroma and flavor, if this were a saison, which is obviously is.. Bitter hops and lightly sweet malt. Some barnyard character. There is no way this is a bitter, but it is a solid beer.
