50cl bottle pours with a clear mahogany colored body that supports a nice looking near white head of foam. The aroma offers up booze infused plums, figs and some dates as well. Behind the fruitiness is a thin layer of molasses and a bit more booze. The taste delivers smooth sweet dark fruity esters like plums, figs, dark blue grape jam, a sliver of boysenberry jam and then dates all dusted and drizzled with molasses and brown sugar. Real nice sipper. Not sure this is getting better with anymore age.

This 50cl bottle had been chilling in my cellar for several years. Split four ways at a Christmas party, 2015. Pours a hazy amber with some creamy, sudsy, off white head. Nose has some signs of oxidation, but not terrible, dried orange peel, toffee, raisin, light port, a little fresh cherry. Flavor follows right along, malt, caramel, toffee, a little light candy, even a little cough drop, orange peel and a little spruce, some estery notes I have to assume are oxidation, raisin, port. Finishes a touch boozy, but otherwise dry. This held up exceptionally for 10 years in the bottle.

Bottle sample at a tasting at tomer’s place. Thanks tomer. Bottle no. 78886. Amber. Aroma is kinda oxidized with lot s of dried fruits, malt, some caramel, a bit of cardboard. Sweet flavor with caramel, dried fruits, toffee, a cookie hint, a bit of cardboard, some alcohol, and a bitterish finish. Medium-bodied, quite rounded.
