Our Mastrobator is dark ruby, almost black, with a long-lasting foam and a spicy-chocolate scent. On the tongue it is very full-bodied and yet fresh, with a balanced caramel taste. In the end it leaves a strong, softly rounded, recent impression with a light and fine bitterness. Main fermentation in open fermentation tanks, maturation in horizontal storage tanks.

Dobry Doppelbock, imponuje zwlaszcza piana dosc trwala, ladna gesta. Metnosc tego karmelowo alkoholowego piwa jest spora. Swieze w smaku lekko karmelowe toffi oraz mleczna czekolada. Alkohol spory i niestety niezbyt ukryty, ale to jedyna wada do poprawienia.

0.33l bottle. Deep orangangish brown body, light brown head. Aroma of caramel, toast and floral hops. The taste has a significant peach and orange character with notes of caramel and floral hops. As it warms up, it starts to develop a roasty character. It’s suprisingly fruity for a doppelbock, but I like it.

Bottle shared at Chrisso’s May 2014 tasting 25/05/2014. Bottle from getranke oase in Munchen. Dark orange / caramel coloured pour with a lasting loose off white head. Aroma is nutty, berry, sweet caramel malts, slight stale. Flavour is nutty caramel, caramel, sweet, slightly stale malts, hint of vanilla and choc. Palate is flat and dull - lowish carbonation. So so.

Tasting at the ever gracious ChrisO’s. Stop sniggering at the back and pay attention! What we have here is a hazy amber beer with a tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and light and a little soft. Superfine carbonation. Sweetish malts, touch of cream. Light tangy dried fruits. Light finish. Not too bad.

At the Hannoversches Bierfest, draught, on June 7, 2014.Hazy cherry wood color, yellow head. Sweet, malty, caramel scent. Sweet, caramel taste. Sweet aftertaste, also grainy. Medium mouthfeel, medium bitteness.

Thanks to Fergus for this smutty beverage. Best enjoyed during the act of self love he says.... It pours clear ruby-amber with a medium beige head. The nose is toasty, dried fruits, brown bread, fruit cake and caramel. The taste is toasty, malt-driven, wood, orange peel, grapefruit, muffin, booze and peppery spice with a dry finish. Medium body and high carbonation. Pretty sweet and malty. So-so, great name though.....

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein rötlichbraunes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch röstmalzig, süß, fruchtig, Karamell. Geschmack röstmalzig, stark fruchtig süß, Karamell, schokoladig, leicht alkoholisch.
