  Bock - Doppelbock Regular
Score
6.71
ABV: 8.5% IBU: 19 Ticks: 64
Our Mastrobator is dark ruby, almost black, with a long-lasting foam and a spicy-chocolate scent. On the tongue it is very full-bodied and yet fresh, with a balanced caramel taste. In the end it leaves a strong, softly rounded, recent impression with a light and fine bitterness. Main fermentation in open fermentation tanks, maturation in horizontal storage tanks.

Flasche von Hopfen & Malz, Berlin. - Goldbraun, klar.

Bottle from Finkenkrug, Duisburg
Dark color, amber-brown, with generous but fizzy head, frothy. All the bottles at the bar don’t have info about ABV and best-before date. The caramel aroma seems lightly oxidized. Full bodied, with sweet caramel flavor, some oxidization, light bitterness, hint of cereals.
Pleasant but simple.

Aroma is malty with chocolate, some grass and hints of solvent. Flavour is rather malty with chocolate, hints of licorice and vegetables. Does not pair very well with chocolate raisins. Decent.

Nice smooth dopplebock, dark amber with soft off-white head. Aroma of citrus and caramel, taste of dried fruit and chocolate. No hint of alcohol burn. Plus, I like the name....

Bottled. An amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of brettanomyces, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, malt, and straw, leading to a dry finish.
