bottle, kindly donated by pivnizub - díky! Clear golden colour, mid-sized head. Malty-grainy aroma, also grainy flavour, slightly sweet with hints of biscuits. Very shy hoppy finish.

Bottle: Golden with a greenish sheen, very small head, sweetish-grainy nose with a herbal and a cardboardy tinge; medium bodied, soft, sweet flavour, sweet pale-malty finish, a slight touch of alcohol detectable. Better Festbier is easy to find......

The bottle looks simple, but good. The beer in the glass zippy, not much foam. Starts strong, quite hoppy, modest sourish. Flowery-grasy finish, still sourish. Well balanced finish, not bad!

50cl bottle at Ship & Mitre, Liverpool. Clear paleish gold colour, with a thick white head. More syrupy on the aroma than the other beers I’ve had so far this fest., but still surprisingly light in colour and taste. A light lemony character over a more syrupy bodied lager. But not overly syrupy as there is decent hop dryness on finish. Quite parching on palate. Pretty decent, light and airy and lemony for a fest bier.

Muffiger Getreidegeruch. Keine Besonderheit! Test vom 17.3.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 6,8,8,7,7,7 - 7,20

(bottle) Clear golden colour with a small creamy white head. Sweet and light grainy malty nose with honey and a dense touch of hops. Medium sweet flavour, medium to light body. Slightly toasted malty taste, light hoppy and bitter finish. Still quite boring but better as the Aldersbacher Klosterhell, Urhell and Ursprung.
