Bottle from Tavour. Pours clear, darkish amber/copper with a nice creamy white head. Aroma of red grape and orange. Med plus body. Flavor of red grape, orange zest and bourbon with wood notes. Sort of not dry. Some earthiness. Sort of bitter - whiskey and zest wise. Hard to parse, but the flavor is very, very nice.

Pours dark amber into a tulip. White head with good retention recedes leaving spidery sheets. Orange marmalade and bourbon aromas. Slick with sweet caramel and chardonnay upfront turning to hot vanilla, bourbon and tangerine in the warm, lasting oak finish.

Bottled 8/11/22, drunk 9/26/22. Clear, auburn-ruby-maize. Small, off-white/beige head atop showing moderate retention. Really round, well-aged/developed bourbon character in the nose, with bright, though not heavily acidic orange peel and various other spicy notes to balance. Caramel, honey, biscuit from the malt all supports and there's no heat or edge to this. Soft and malty, quite rich though also quite well-attenuated, exposing some of the specialty malts. Honey and biscuit alongside light-to-moderate bourbon spice with hints of fruity cherry, orange and strawberry. Lingering vanilla and more malt keep things fairly soft and even throughout.
