(Bottle, Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 9 Sep 2023) Black colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of espresso, cacao, black bread and soy sauce. Malty, roasted taste with espresso, soy sauce, dark chocolate, black bread and a vinous finish with a gentle roasty bitterness. Full body, thick and oily mouthfeel. A certain sweetness. Rich and powerful, a bit boozy and vinous. Very nice.

Sample (thanks omhper!). Pitch black colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is ripe berries, oatmeal, some chocolate and roasted tones. Flavour is cocoa, cold coffee, mild tart ripe berry tones with some roast and quite much alcohol as well. A bit too boozy. Still quite nice tones.

ABV: 13.5%. Clear dark black brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light brown head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, dark malt, sweet malt, date, vinous, wood - oak touch. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, chocolate, wood - oak, vinous, roasted, dark malt, sweet malt, date, dark fruit. Body is medium to full, texture is creamt - oily and sticky, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20230326]
