Dry sparkling apple wine made from Danish apples of the Elstar, Jonagold and Ingrid Marie varieties. Bottle-fermented according to the traditional method.

The wine is dry with good acidity, lovely apple notes and a pleasant aftertaste with nice bitterness from the apple seeds.

A good sparkling food wine, which is well suited to savory dishes, seafood, fatty dishes with fish or poultry and mushrooms.

750 ml corked & caged clear bottle, vintage 2017, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 10.5%. Clear golden colour, pours sparkling with a large but shortlived white head. Aroma of oxidised apple must and funky cellar. Dry flavour of apples, a hint of oak, some tannins, slightly astringent finish. --- Beer merged from original tick of Cold Hand Pommus 2017 on 08 Feb 2023 at 18:39 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 7.
