Swing top stonejug. Deep dark brown color. Malt and toffee in the aroma. Caramelly sweet, malty flavor with hints of licorice. Slightly roasty. Only medium bodied. Surprisingly pleasant aftertaste.

Bottle thanks to Douberd and the European Local Swap II. Brown colour with an off-white head with good duration and nice lacing. Aroma is sweet, notes of candy sugar, toasted malts, moderate yeasty. Flavor is sweet, notes of marzipan and caramel plumbcake, notes of yeasty and candy sugar. The final is moderate sweet with a slightly bitterness very good compensated.

Dark brown colour. Thick creamy head. Aroma is sweet, red fruit sweetness. Texture is thick and a bit sticky. The powerful malty taste doesn’t sit so well against the red fruit sweetness though.

Ceramic bottle brought by my brother in law, BB 10-2008. Deep brown colour, beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, burnt caramel, some dark fruits. Flavour is rather bitter for a dubbel, deep roasted malts and caramel, a hint of sourness and a bit of dark chocolate. A bit less than medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry mouthfeel and dry bitter finish.
