26/1/2023. BIAB at the 14th Colchester Winter Ale Festival. Pours clear amber copper with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of stewed plum, toffee, wood, petrol. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness, touch of tartness. Medium body, oily, soft carbonation. Dry smooth finish. Enjoyed it.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Deep reddish-tinged orange amber colour, no head and aroma of prunes, apple, plums. Taste is apple, plum, fruity, some tartness and drying tannin. Medium bodied, low carbonation, medium-dry plummy finish. Nicely drinkable.
