A single variety perry made from the well known Blakeney Red pear using the méthode ancestrale approach. This unfiltered perry fermented by wild yeasts has a lively sparkle with medium acidity and tannins. Gentle lemon flavours come through on the palate. Best to chill well before drinking.

750ml bottle from Cat in the Glass. Orangey gold colour, short-lived fizzy white foam head and aroma of perry pear, fruity, earthy. Taste is perry pear, fruity, with acetic funk, citric tart acidity and some earthiness. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, medium-dry slightly tart citric finish. Nicely drnkable.
