500ml Bottle - Golden with a slight haze and a white head. Lemon, lime, grass and hints of spice in the aroma. Citrussy taste with lime, bread and some noticeably hoppy notes. Tasty and refreshing.

Tap at Franken Fest 2017 in Rome-Italy. Golden semi clear pour, tick off white foam. Nose: much crumb mixed with citric notes, rustic. Mouth: frizzy carbo, juicy maltiness, hay-malty. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle drunk on a train to Munich. hazy pale gold colour lasting white head. Yes some lemon on the aroma and flavour. Some good stinging bitter finishing hop it’s cold after being in the snow but who cares. that biting finish is good. good carbonation. not too exciting up front but this beer happens in the mouth and finish. I liked it. 3.6 On tap at Eckerts. Slight haze as unfiltered. Gold colour lasting off white head. Full tasting Zwickel beer. Wow that's really good. Lemon flavour yes. But that is only the start. It's hoppy It's bitter. It's so drinkable. I actually think it's better than the Ganstaller zwickel pils. Amazing. My mouth lit up with joy. It's good. Drinkable. Good lemon flavour and finish . Re rate 04 May 2025 even better. The finish is superb. The bitter white pepper is lovely.

Recht helles Zwickel, schöne Trübe, ordentliche Feinperlung. In der Nase maischig-malzig, setzt sich im Trunk fort und wird dann bitter mit etwas Restsüße. Mir insgesamt zu unausgewogen und zu krachig.

Unclear, yellow-golden colored, medium+ white frothy head, long lasting. Aroma is malty, grainy, some bread and sulphur, strawy-grassy hops. Taste is low+ sweet malt, grains and bread, some herbal strawy hops with medium bitterness, dryish finish and bitter hayish aftertaste. Medium to light bodied, average carbonation.

Bottle bought @ Landbierparadies. Pours hazy deep yellow with a big frothy offwhite head that slowly dissipates while leaving some sparse trace on the grass. Smell is slightly malty and floral with wholegrain crackers, rustic bread, hay, dried flowers, minerals and lemon peal. Taste is tiny sweet, bitter, slightly malty and floral. Mouthfeel is slightly dry, soft, round and medium bodied. Finish is tiny sweet and bitter with wholegrain crackers, white sourdough bread, pale honey, hay, minerals and lemon peal. Highly drinkable lager with magical rustic bread malt base and honey floral hops. --- Beer merged from original tick of Zwick'l on 17 Oct 2015 at 21:45 - Score: 8. Original review text: Rustic bread malt base and honey floral hops. Highly quaffable delicious lager.
