A traditional Full Bodied stout flavoured with a hint of Madagascan Vanilla.
Dungeon Ghyll Stout is our take on a classic stout. We use roast and cara malts to make the brew as dark as a stout should be but without the associated bitterness that some malts can give.
To slightly take the bitter edge of the stout we use proper vanilla extract – imported from Madagasca – as an allergen free alternative to milk that would traditionally have been used.
To make Dungeon Ghyll have the depth of character that any good stout should have, we stop the ferment with a final gravity of 1015 giving it real body.

Can from BeerGB. Appearance - deep brown to black. cola colour. Foamy, off white head. Nose - brown bread, toffee and raisin. Taste - burnt toffee, brown bread and burnt raisin. Palate - medium bodied, roasty, dry finish. Overall - good.

Rocky tan head left a creamy cover on a very dark brown body. Dandelion & Burdock, malt & fruity aroma. Medium bodied, creamy g smooth with a clean finish. Caramel, light malt, berries & sweet tangy citrus tastes. Actually tastes like Dandelion & Burdock! Good one.

500ml bottle. Gluten Free. Black colour, tan foam head leaving some lacing and aroma of roast malt, ash, dark chocolate, coffee. Taste is dark malt, roasty, coffee, dried fruit, with some chocolate and earthy nutty bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, roasted bitter finish. Quite drinkable.
