This cider is 100% Dabinett (from 2019) fermented and aged in an ex-red wine barrel. The result is well-rounded, mature and complex. A little like our grandfather Francis Cook, affectionately known as Franko.

750ml bottle from Cat in the Glass. Orange colour, some short-lived bubbles on top and aroma of mellow apple, red wine, wood barrel, funk hint. Taste is slightly tangy & tart, apple, mellow, vanilla, wood, , red wine, barrel notes, alittle funk, with juicy citric and soft tannins. Medium bodied, low carbonation, medium-dry finish. Balanced, nicely drinkable.
