As winter draws in here on the Cornish coast, a bold Robin has taken to sneaking into our brewers yard at every opportunity. We see it as a good omen, and thought we'd brew an extra special beer in honour of our new companion.
Rich molasses and gingerbread notes on the nose followed up by a smooth, roasty dark chocolate flavour, finishing with a lingering gingerbread finish to compliment the malt sweetness.
Hops: Goldings
Malt: Maris Otter, Oats, Chocolate, Brown, Double Roasted Crystal, Dark Wheat
Yeast: Nottingham

Panda at home, thanks to Ed Danlo, 11/03/23. Black with a khaki head that dissipates edgewards. Nose is dark malts, spice, hint of coffee, roasted tones, toffee, fruit cake mix. Taste comprises roasted bite, spice, cocoa powder, winter cheer, dark malts, dried fruit esters, ginger snap biscuit, toffee. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Earthy old skool stout ... sips fine.

Panda 🐼 at home big thanks to Ed Danlo. An oily dark brown black coloured pour with a loose mid tan head. Aroma is semi sweet, oily, ginger bread house, brandy snap sugars, bark, some alcohol, dark roast. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, woody roast, ginger, bark, alcohol, toasted green apple. some alcohol. Palate is semi sweet, spices, oily, moderate carbonation. Good fun.

29/1/2023. Bottle shared by danlo, cheers Ed! Pours black with a small bubbly beige head. Aroma is spicy, cinnamon, biscuit, ash, roasted malt, chocolate. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium body, slightly creamy, soft carbonation. Very nice.

750ml bottle from Driftwood Spars. Gluten Free. Black colour, bubbly beige foam head and aroma of rich malt, christmas cake, gingerbread, coffee. Taste is sweetish, malty, rich and roasty, gingerbread, christmas cake with dried fruits, coffee & chocolate notes, and earthy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, roasty bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.
