500ml bottle from Hambleton, as 4.3% Festive Blonde. Golden colour, white foamy head and aroma of malt, yeasty, citric hop. Taste is sweetish, pale malt, grain, biscuit, with some yeast & straw notes and citrusy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, citric bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

Cask-conditioned at the North Yorkshire beeriodical, the Seven Stars, Bristol 13/12/2012. Amber with a slight off- white head. Sweet, caramel and cherry aroma with some cereal malts. Flavour was also sweet, and somewhat buttery, with more fruits and a moderately bitter finish. Not so good.

Cask, Lion, Liverpool. Golden, with a thin white head. Lightly fragrant aroma. Some citrus evident with the caramel maltiness in the flavour ; some hops evident towards the finish which was dryish. Low key, yet drinkable. Not really a wintery beer as such, but relatively flavoursome for a 4percenter.
