6/12/2002. Bottle shared by Colin, cheers. Pours clear pale gold with a few small bubbles. Aroma is very fruity, pear, baked, caramel, light sulphur, slightly woody. Medium sweetness, tartness and body. Slightly oily, low carbonation. Developed really well. Enjoyable.

Bottle sample courtesy of Theydon_Bois, cheers Colin! Goldenn colour, short-lived bubbles on top and aroma of pear, fleshy, caramel hint. Taste is sweetish, pear, juicy, caramel, some tartness and acidity. Medum bodied, low carbonatiom, medium-sweet finish. Nicely drinkable.

Bottle at home, from Chadbury farm shop, 17/09/22. Golden to light copper, pretty dark for a Perry, topped with a fast collapsing white head. Nose is orchard wood, caramel, light pear drop, apple skins. Taste comprises stewed pear, faint acidic tinge, tannins, orchard wood, apple core, light funk. Medium bodied, light spritzy carbonation, semi drying close. Pleasant easy drinking perry ... not overly sweet as some of this ilk tend to run.
