Bottle sample courtesy of Theydon_Bois, cheers Colin! Orangey gold colour, bubbly white foam head that quickly dissipates to a thin rim and aroma of apple, fleshy, caramel, woody. Taste is sweetish, apple, fruity, orchardy, funky, with caramel hint and earthy drying tannins. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.

Bottle at home, from Chadbury farm shop, 17/09/22. Clear copper with a reddish glow topped with a moderate head that clears to spotting. Nose is caramelised apple, tannins, hedgerow, apple skins, orchard wood. Taste comprises light funk, sharp apple, tannins, toffee apple, caramel. Medium bodied, light spritzy carbonation leading to a semi drying close. Decent apple juice, well balanced twixt bitter and sweet.
