Panda 🐼 at home big thanks to Danlo. A translucent peachy golden orange coloured pour with a fine white head. Aroma is soft juicy pear, light musty funk, subdued, hint of soap, floury apple. Flavour is composed of pithy under-ripe pear, light sharp, bark and pithy fruit bits. Palate is tart, pithy, highish carbonation, tannin, light funk. Interesting stuff.

30/9/2022. Bottle shared by danlo, cheers Ed! Pours cloudy very pale orange gold with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of pungent pear, musty grape, wood, flowers, rice wine. Quite heavy sweetness, moderate tartness. Medium body, slightly oily, light spritzy carbonation. Sweet, tannic, dry, astringent finish. Enjoyed this.

Panda at home, thanks to Danlo ... cheers Ed, 01/10/22. Light murk on a pineapple jus yellow pour with some off white bubbles clinging to the edge. Nose is bitter sweet pears, tannins, pear skins, light funk. Taste comprises sharp pear, bitter sweet, light funk, acidic bimble, residual sugars. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Decent.

750ml bottle from Cat in the Glass. Season 2021. Hazy sandy gold colour, white foam head that quickly dissipates to a thin rim and aroma of fruity pear. Taste is sweet, pear, fleshy, skins, grapey, with some acidity and drying woody tannin. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, very dry tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.

Thanks to Aden. Appearance - salmon pink to orange and a little cloudy. Still. Nose - a pear skin, grape must and a little wood. Taste - ripe pear flesh and skins. Palate - high acid, creamy in texture, medium bodied with fruit tannins. Overall - complex!
