Cider in a box at 13th Elysian Winter Beer Festival in Ely. Clear bright golden yellow, still. Aroma of apple flesh, dried leaves, light vanilla. Taste has light tannins, apple skins, lemon rind. Dry finish. Tasty

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Golden colour, some short-lived bubbles on top and aroma of apple, funky. Taste is sweetish, apple, musty, fleshy, red apple, with skin and core, some funk and acidity. Medium bodied, low carbonation, drying finish. Quite drinkable.

25/8/2022. From BIAB at the 43rd Peterborough Beer Festival. As Lyme Bay Ernie Boy's Scrumpy. Pours clear bright golden with minimal head. Aroma is funky, musty apple, light solvent, leather and horse-blanket. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness, light sourness. Medium body, oily, soft to flat carbonation. Dry tangy finish. Good.
