Sweet and earthy, slightly toasty malty aroma with subtle berry-fruity notes and a touch of herbal, slightly woody hops. Moderately bitter flavour, light to almost medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Soft and slightly toasty cara-malty taste with shy fruity notes and herbal, slightly woody hoppy accents; quite dry, subtle fruity and moderately hop bitter finish. Likeable Hausbrauer Alt. 14.IV.10

bottled, at the Bautzner Tor, Dresden. Hazy copper-golden-brown colour (hard to describe), with a mid-sized off-white head. Roasted malts, caramel and lots of bitter aromatic hops with a touch of lemon grass. Smooth carbonation.

Bottle, 4.7%. Good spicy hop aroma, like a power-Alt. Also smells a little roasted. A bit like a hoppy stout. Cloudy dark copper colour. Big stable creamy tan head. The flavour has the same nice spicy hop note as the aroma. Mild bitterness, not rough like the Düsseldorf ones. Creamy malt note underneath the spicy hoppiness.

Bottle 50cl. Sving top @ [ Tasting by Maria ].Light unclear medium amber orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, nutty, caramel notes, fruity notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to light heavy bitter with a average duration. Body is medium to light, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. (060908)
