Small Acres Heritage Blend Apple Cider blends the robust flavour of French and English cider-variety apples with the lightness of Pink Lady apples for a refreshing premium craft cider with fresh and cooked apple flavours and a little tartness. Striking, rich gold in colour with a subtle bead. Attractive aromas of fresh cut red apple with complex brioche, forest floor and spice notes. This is a mostly dry, lively, light to medium bodied cider. The well-balanced flavours combine fresh and cooked apples with subtle spice and savouriness. It has a touch of tartness that adds to the mouthfeel, with a mouth-watering, puckering finish that lingers delightfully. This is a nicely complex cider that makes the perfect aperitif.

20/9/2022. Bottle shared by danlo, cheers Ed! Pours clear very pale gold with small bubbly head. Aroma is apple, musty, caramel, dusty, broad beans. Medium sweetness. Moderate tangy sourness. Medium body, oily, average carbonation. Decent.

330ml bottle from The Oak Barrel, Sydney. Pale golden colour, short-lived thin white head and aroma of fruity apple, caramel. Taste is sweetish, tangy, apple, some core, with a caramel note, and some tart acidity. Medium bodied, spikey carbonation, medium-dry finish. Quite drinkable
