440ml can from Tom's Tap, Crewe. Dark black brown colour, bubbly tan rim and aroma of roasty malt, dark chocolate, coffee, ashy, earthy. Taste is roasted malty, with dark chocolate, ground coffee, some toffee, liquorice and earthy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, roasty bitter finish. Very drinkable.

31/7/2022. Can bought at Tom’s Tap by danlo, cheers for this Ed. Pours rich, black, with a large frothy deep tan coloured head. Aroma is dark chocolate, chocolate syrup, toffee, vanilla, roasted malt, liquorice, ash, waxy edge. Medium sweetness and light to moderate roasted bitterness. Quite full bodied, oily slick mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very good.
