Hazy amber beer, white head. Malty aroma with a little citrus. Flavour has citrus, sweet malt, a little grassy hop. Decent zesty finish. Not bad at all.

Bottle from Marshall Farm Shop. It pours darkest brown to black with a decent fluffy white head. The aroma is toasty, earthy, sappy, treacle, dried fruits, raisin, sultana and toasted fruit cake. The taste is bone dry, earthy, bitter, resinous, toasted brown bread, charred, burnt treacle, leather, toothy, coffee grounds and a touch of spice with a toasty finish. Average body and fairly high, foamy carbonation. Perhaps could be a less dry and more sweet to balance it out a bit (not something I usually say!). Alright.
