Tight white head on unclear pale golden coloured body.
Cereal, dusty & light citrus aroma.
Medium bodied, sharp & foamy with a cloying back.
Chalky, herbal, pine & lemon tastes with a bitter finish.
Straightforward - Drinker.

Can from Beer52. Semi-hazed gold with well formed white head. Aroma of cereals, grapefruit, hint of pithy citrus and pine. Taste is slightly disappointing - more cereal malt noted than anything with fusty floral, grapefruit and tart citric notes and berries. Dry finish with low bitterness. It improves on repeated sips and the hops become more pronounced. Its not a bad pale but of the 6 Black Isle beers I've tried to date this is my least favourite.

Can 33cl. from a local Marqt supermarket @home poured into a shaker. Hazy pale golden colour, good frohy white head, half-way lasting, fair lacing. Aroma pale malt, grapefruit, pine. Taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, grapefruit, lemon peel, pine resin. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, dry sweetbitter aftertaste, mineral notes, solid brew, nice.
