Bottle, stable big bubbly head, beautiful deep brown with burgundy hues blending in, aroma of chocolate cake and vanila and something milky, aroma of milk chocolate, roasted coffee beans and some earthy notes, medium coffee bitterness, medium bodied from the brown ale Base. Really good drinking and very interesting.

From a 375ml bottle on 25/5/2020 (shared with Butz). Pours a very dark amber with a smallish head. The nose is light chocolate and caramel, but it's pretty modest. Tastes of dark chocolate, caramel and soy, followed a sharp, bordering on harsh, roasty bitterness, which is strong and lingering. I actually get bugger all coffee. Medium bodied with moderate to average carbonation. Not a disaster but tremendously disappointing for a Mikkeller.

A sharp spicy aroma that also comes through in the flavor, i feel like this is largely from the hops and coffee. The beer is very dry, but clean. Unique for sure, not with a big malty body. Mikkeller advent kalendar 2019.
