The beer starts smooth, slightly sweet. The mainpart is sweetish, a bit sharp and malty. The aftertaste is slightly bitter, sharp-malty with hints of caramel and the typical Maibock-sweetness.
Ok, but nothing special. 10/12/10/10

Bottle (as Maibock): Pale golden to golden with a greenish sheen and a small white lacy head; sweetish grainy-strawy nose with a grassy-hoppy background; moderate to solid sweet and slightly bitter flavour, soft and pretty light bodied for a beer of 7.0%; slightly lingering sweetish-grainy and mildly bitter finish. O.K., well made but not too demanding......

(bottle, as Flötzinger Bräu Mai Bock) Clear, pale golden colour with a blond medium-sized foamy head. Moderately sweet grainy pale malty aroma with notes of biscuits and a shy grassy hoppy touch. Sweet flavour, medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Biscuity and slightly grainy malt-character with a delicately hoppy touch; moderately sweet and grainy malty finish with a restrained bitterness. Clean and pleasant to drink but also a bit plain. 30.IV.11

A yellow beer with a thin disappearing white head. The aroma is very sweet and very alcoholic. The flavor is sweet and very malty with a very strong caramel presence, as well as a pronounced precence of alcohol.
