Bottle online from The Trembling Madness. Pours an almost clear light golden colour with a medium sized creamy white head. Aromas of grains, hay, toasty bread, light floral and shrubs. Taste has toasty grains, toasty bread, more floral and shrubs and also a light medicinal note. Some light grass and a touch of sweetness on the finish. Well balanced. Medium body, fairly low carbonation and smooth oily mouthfeel. Maibock is not one of my favourite styles of Beer but this one is very good. Nice.

Flötzinger Mai-Bock, Flasche von Getränke Fleischmann, Freising. - Satt goldgelb, klar. - In der Nase bocktypisch fetteres helles Malz, ein klein wenig leer, nur schwache Hopfung. - Antrunk satt getreidig hellmalzig mit bocktypischer Schwere aber von maßvoller Süße, schwache Anklänge an Birnenschale und Honig; feine kräuterige Hopfung. Milder rezent, vollmundig; klassisch kaschierter Alkohol. Im Abgang leicht trocken und mild herbal hopfenherb. - Sehr solider, satt malzschwerer aber fein gehopfter Maibock, nicht so lieblos-routiniert wie ich andere Flötzinger-Biere in Erinnerung habe sondern durchaus gediegen. Bottle picked up from Appel Getränkemark in Moosburg and consumed at home Saturday 23rd April 2022 listening to Trupa Trupa - B Flat A, now listening to Porridge Radio - Every Bad (expanded edition). Loz is still roasting a chicken in the wood oven, we've made an Asparagus and Ham Lasagna. Pours hazy warm gold with a mid sized white head. Sweetness, malty, a little honey, nice light bitterness, good.

Bottle, sold as maibock. Blonde. Malty bready aroma with pear. Malty sweet flavor with grassy notes, pear and pineapple. A soft almost soapy bitterness in the finish. Medium to full bodied. Sticky mouthfeel.

14-05-19 // tap at Biererei Bar & Vintage Cellar More classic than the Heidenpeters before. Grainy sweet. Minimal popcorn. Smooth. This year I love Maibocks as a change to hazy af neipas.
