12 oz bottle purchased as a single at MDL in Overland Park, Kansas. Pour is a slightly hazed golden yellow, with a one inch white head. Aroma is soft floral, hay, grass and light malt sweetness. Taste is the nose, lightly sweet floral hay, turns to some grain rice in the finish. Overall, it is mostly about the grassy floral sweetness. Palate is light to medium bodied, nicely unfiltered mouth feel. Carbonation is lower and soft. Cleanish finish, with a hint of rice and yeast. Decently drinkable, though the floral was a bit much for my tastes.

12 oz bottle, bottled in May of 201?--that is, the last number of the year runs off the label. Pours a light, bright yellow with many particles causing a haze and a white head. Aroma is mostly of pale malt, but I also sense kind of a candy, berry aroma. Flavor again has pale malt, toasty biscuit, and just a slight hint of the candied flavor similar to a sake. Other than the interesting moment of recognizing that candied note, there’s nothing too interesting in this beer.

(bottle) cloudy pale yellow, small white head; yeasty aroma - not very pleasant; nasty flavour - very reminiscent of the really bad Asian beers I try in Hong Kong, definitely something to stay away from

Bottle at Wachi. Aroma of honey, rice, grains, peach, a bit of citrus. Very cloudy golden color. Grainy, sweet, yeasty flavor with fruit, peach and pear, and rice. Full, smooth body. Ok. Balanced and drinkable but a bit boring. Cool label. (Not the one on this site)

Bottle @ Great Divide brewery, Denver,Co. Pours hazy golden with a small offwhite head. Arome of fruit, malt and rice. Taste is fruit, stray, grass, and rice. Thin body, lively carbonated. Over a easy drinking and refreshing beer, but not really my style. 041210

On tap at Mason’s Pub. Pours pale yellow with a medium, white, fluffy head. The aroma is faint, with notes of wheat, lemons, and light hops, The flavor is a good balance of malty sweetness and bitterness. The mouthfeel is light and crisp with a very clean finish. Overall, a smooth drinking beer, with enough flavor to be worth drinking.

Strongly vegetal cabbage and peas smell. Milky yellow, like a witbier, no head. Crisp lemon initially. Strong flavor of beets surges at midpalate. Metallic finish. This is certainly different, but in a very bad way. It drinks like a horribly bad batch of homebrew. Either this is a bad batch or its a new definition of beer that I dislike. Gross and tragically disappointing.
