A Pale Ale on speed. Deep gold color like a sunset over Jerusalem. More malt, more hops and of course, more date honey. Dry-hopped with American Cascade hops (in case you missed the first 3 hoppings) this beer has an incredibly complex aroma of grapefruit, raisins, nuts and honey-toasted malt.

Bottled@omhper-post-SBWF-1st-weekend tasting. Amber colour, small head. Aroma is fruity hops, some nectar, mild spices and quite wooden notes. Flavour is much the same, but has some more tropical fruity notes to it. Quite bitter and dry finish.

Bottled, thanks DSG! Cloudy amber, rich but brief head. Salty grapefruit nose. A bit sweet with clean, rounded mouthfeel. Fruity and very salty with notes of peach. The bitterness is more pronounced than the hop aroma.

Bottle. Hazy red brown colour. Almost no head. Caramelly bonbon aroma. The flavour also has some caramel. OK hop flavour, grassy and slightly spicy. A little sweet.

Etwas holziger Geruch. Naja.. Vielen Dank an Barak für das Bier! RB # 3400. 33 cL bottle, thanks to DSG. Pours dark orange to brown with a lacing white head. Hops aroma, light spiced and underlying malt note. Flavour is caramel malt sweet and with a light hops flavour on top. Light spice edge and a slowly increasy bitterness. Ends with a lingering hops flavour and a light yeast note.

Draught at the brewery. Clear red colour. Complex aromas of friuts jump at your nose: mango, passion fruit, melon, peach apricot and some citrus (to name just a few). the same fruity notes linger when you seep the beer, but suddenly behind them appear flavours of honey and traces of cinamon. The bitterness is qutie strong (as expected from an IPA) but is in harmony with the complex flavours. The beer is perfectly balanced, and the aftertaste lingers for quite a while

Re-rate 8/19/08: Bottle. Hazy amber with a small white head. Aroma has some biscuity and caramelly malts, as well as some slightly citric and slightly floral hops. Sweet flavour of malt, caramel and date honey and later some hoppy bitterness with citrus notes. Also some light alcohol notes. Medium-bodied. Not too hoppy for an IPA (quite like the English-style east coast IPAs), but still quite tasty. Better from tap. 7/3/6/3/13=3.2
Re-rate 4/16/08: Draught at the "Pre-Pesach Keg Party" 2008. Dark amber with a medium quickly-diminishing beige head. Aroma of hops, slightly floral, with some citrus and some malt. Sweetish flavor with some honey and caramel. Finishes bitter and hoppy with some grapefruit notes. Medium-bodied. Good but not nearly hoppy enough for my taste. 7/3/7/3/14=3.4
Draught at the "Pre-Pesach Keg Party" 2007. Clear red. Aroma of hops (of course), grapefruit, honey and some malt. A rather hoppy flavor, yet the hoppy bitterness is a bit restrained by honey sweetness. Some grapefruit. A rather full body. 7/4/7/4/14=3.6
