A Pale Ale on speed. Deep gold color like a sunset over Jerusalem. More malt, more hops and of course, more date honey. Dry-hopped with American Cascade hops (in case you missed the first 3 hoppings) this beer has an incredibly complex aroma of grapefruit, raisins, nuts and honey-toasted malt.

On tap at the Brewpub, July 2013. Hazy reddish/brown with a small creamy head. Light hops and fruit in this one. Sweet with some honey. Low bitterness. Drinkable but nothing special.

Cloudy dull amber. Thick head. Minty and buttery, a strong combination that might be more compelling than it needs to be. Taste like mint and diacetyl, too. Decent bitterness. Strange, strange stuff.

33cl Bottle from DSG, shared with Nate2g, thanks Barak! Hazy amber colour, off white head. Aroma of leafy hops, bit like veggies, sweet ripe fruits like melon, sugar. Flavour is sweet, malty, fruity, grassy hop, sugary, it’s a bit crude, not very refined, slightly alcoholic. Medium bodied.

Bottled. An amber beer with an orangey head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel as well as light notes of hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, straw, and spicy hops - I think Cascade, leading to a dry bitter finish. Thank omhper for sharing.

Bottle. Thanks to Barak for this one. Pours a clear amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty hoppy aroma. Sweetish fruity malty and slightly bitter hoppy flavor with some hints of honey. Has a fruity malty hoppy finish.

Bottle: Poured a deep copper color ale with a medium foamy head with good retention. Aroma consists of sweet malt with light piney notes also noticeable. Taste is also dominated by some sweet malt with some light piney hops at the end. I honestly would have thought this to be some kind of barleywine if it had been a blind tasting with the amount of sweet malt and the light hops presence. Body is about average with good carbonation and no signs of the alcohol were noticeable.

The bottle looks good, but very simple. The beer in the glass darker then exspected, hugh head. Intense and alcoholic aroma. Starts strong, but not as hoppy as exspected, very malty, a bit moldy. The finish is very thin, not really IPA-like. Thanks to DSG for the bottle!

330ml bottle from an Organic Supermarket in Herzelia, Israel. A hazy reddish amber colour with a rapidly fading white head; aroma of hops, dates and honey with some malt; oily texture with some pleasantly sharp hops and a smooth creamy citrus flavour, followed by a gentle hoppy finish and an alcohol burn. Not quite as good as the APA, but way better than standard Israeli beers.
