(Bottle 50 cl) Pours hazy and opaque dark brown with an impressive, light brown head. Sweet aroma of licorice and coriander. Quite full-bodied with a lightly burned almost Stout-like note as well as accents of orange and soapy coriander. Dry, lightly bitter finish. 301007

Bottle at Chris_o’s Magic Night. Deep ruby, pretty sour. Overly aggressive. Bit of dust. Nice spicy whisky. Odd.

From bottle, blind tasting at Papsoes - beer no 31. Pours brown/amber with a diminished light brown head. Spiced and herbal aroma. Flavour is spiced with a liqourice edge. Ends complex spiced and bitter in the finish. Complex. Too complex spiced for my liking.4-4-4-3-8=2.3

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy brown with a huge light brown and creamy head. Yeast in the bottom. Aroma is sweet caramel malty and with a distinct and complex set of spices. Flavour starts with a lovely sweet caramel flavour before a complex and slight overpowering set of spices appears. The balance sadly is a bit tilted here with too much ginger but the finish holds a soft chocolate smoothness and the beer gets back on track. Challenging brew which didn’t capture me the first time around in a blind taste session, but this really goes well with duck (Mortens aften) and drunk in larger quantities (the brewer claims a minimum of 2L is needed...). Not the best Amager brew but a solid one.6-4-7-2-13=3.2

Bottled. A dark red-brown beer with an enormous brown head. The aroma is sweet and very spicy amongst them cloves and cinnamon. The flavor is sweet with notes of molasses, alcohol, and spices among them a very powerful note of cloves, but also some cinnamon, though the note of alcohol is the most dominant that both warms the mouth and leaves a slight burn on the tongue. I think it is a good beer to store for a year or too.
