Bottle from MiP, thanks! Dark brown color. Caramel, apple dumplings and raisin in the aroma. Very sweet sugary caramelly flavor with apple syrup and chichory. Chichory bitter aftertaste. Sticky mouthfeel.

Bottle, 60 cL. Pours reddish brown with no head. Aroma is (over) ripe apples and pears, raisins, cinnamon, pepper, cloves, nutmeg and hints of chocolate and licorice. Taste is dominant sweet but there is also mild bitter dryness on the middle of the tongue. Body is oily and smooth with mild carbonation. Finish is short with no distinct notes. Extremely sweet but nice with desserts.

60 cl bottle vintage 2007, BBE 2012
Aroma has darkened sugar and raisins. Also some hints of solvent and dark fruits. Flavour feels rather sugary with raisins, some solvent-like alcohol and sweet malt. Alcohol and stickiness gets stronger when warming up. Lots of barley wine -like elements. Surprisingly good when looking at the RB score.

clear dark brown, smooth offwhite to light brown head. rather strong aroma of alc. malts, caramel, nutty bitter and faint dark fruits. A little too bitter and boozy to have a great Abt aroma. flavor is caramelly, sweet fruity, dark fruity, malty, slightly bitter, in fact okay, quite sweet, even sugary sweet which distracts. notes of dried dark fruits.

Bottle 60 cl. Pours a clear amber with a rough, off-white head. Sweetish aroma of caramel and butterscotch. Full-bodied with a sticky malt sweetness - and nothing much more. No real bitterness. A poor quad. 231208

(Bottled, EBF). Dark clear amber color, small beige head. Strong diacetylic aroma, butterscotch, grassyness and some alcohol. Sweet, some diacetyl, toffee and grassy hops. Too young still and I am not sure if this is really a quadrupel.
