De Trotse Pauw van Brouwerij Groos is een Stevig bier van 8% met een mooie volle smaak. De Trotse Pauw is afgeleid van de naam van de brouwerij namelijk Groos. In Rotterdam betekent Groos namelijk Trots. Het bier is gebrouwen met drie verschillende granen en soorten hop. Door het toevoegen van koriander is een kruidig bier ontstaan, daarnaast heeft het ook nog fruitige citrus tonen.

0.33 l bottle from 'Het Biermoment', best before September 2022. Slightly hazy, golden amber with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, gently fruity-floral, slightly grassy, moderately yeasty aroma of apricot, honey, fresh grass and clove. Gently sweet, quite yeasty, moderately fruity-grassy taste of lots of clove, honey, apricot, hay, grains and a touch of banana, followed by a medium long, quite bitter, fairly yeasty, gently grassy finish. Medium body, quite effervescent mouthfeel, average to lively carbonation. Nice Tripel, quite hoppy and dry.
