strange brew. sort of bitter/sour/weird taste underneath that i don’t like. the taste underneath reminded me of vomit. Far from the best of its kind, but scores a few points by being brave and different.

(From old notes, bottle at One Pint on 2008-01-11) Rather dark in colour. Honey in taste and nose. The spices used weren’t pleasant, unfortunately.

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a dense off-white head. Aroma is raspberry and lemon with a very minor wheat note. Flavour starts a bit sweet before the acidity from the raspberry kicks in - for then to be replaced by the citric notes from the lime and with a very mild wheat cloudyness before the finish. Ends in a nice blend of acidity, citric, bitterness and some hints of wheat. Quite different and unexpected experience.

Bottled at Københavnske Øldage. Cloudy amber. Aroma of raspberries and wheat based "knäckebröd". Sweet, fruity and medium bodied. Some strange esters and graepfruit. Lightly metallic finish.

Bottle. (as Hvede) A bit unclear, golden, with a small, bubbly, white head. Fruity nose with honey, raspberry and a strange sweet note. Fruity and sweet flavor with caramel. Medium body, and a caramel finish with some fruits. Not bad, not too good, mostly strange. Rating: 4-3-4-3-8-2.2 (070413)

Botte at Kolding Ølmesse. (as Wheat) Clear, golden beer with an off-white head. Fruity nose, or maybe more berry-ish, with some hops. Fruity flavor too, with malts and butterscotch. Medium body. Caramel-malty and sweet finish. Easy to drink, but that’s it. (080229)
