50 cl bottle. Amber colour. Generous off white head.Good lacing.Caramel and roasted malts aroma. Malt , caramel and dried fruits flavour .Medium to full body. Ok. Could be more interesting.

Bottle @ LCRBM 2008. Malty buttery aroma. Malty, buttery flavor with hints of roast and raspberry. Sticky mouthfeel. Solid doppelbock. Bottle @ home 031211. Brown color. Coffee, toffee and milk chocolate in the aroma. Caramelly sweet flavor. Malty with toffee and just a hint of roast. Powerful bock, maybe a bit too sweet

500ml bottle. Cloudy, amber-ish brown colour with average, creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Sweet-ish, dark malty aroma, hints of malt lozenge, some caramel and toffee. Taste is minimally sweet, toasty dark and caramel malty, minimally nutty, hints of malt lozenge, milk chocolate, a touch of toffee, nougat, hazelnut. Quite OK.

Rötlichbraunes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch röstmalzig, süß, würzig, Karamell. Geschmack röstmalzig süß, Karamell, Schokolade, leicht alkoholisch.

Leuchtend rot-braune Farbe, schon etwas ins Lila-gehende (14Pkt). Der Geruch ist schön malzig-trocken und gleichzeitig süßlich. Im Antrunk ist das Bier schön süffig-leicht trocken malzig. Zum Hauptteil hin wird das Bier noch trockener, dabei aber auch komisch süßlich-muffig. Leicht vergoren, aber dabei unangenehm wie alte Pappe. Leicht rauchig-süßlich. Zum Nachgeschmack wird das Bier trocken-muffig, leicht erdig-herb, dabei ganz leicht süßlich-malzig.
--> Ganz nett, aber auch nicht so ganz mein Geschmack - zu komisch-muffig, vor allem im Nachgeschmack! Vielen Dank an wastl!!

0.5l bottle. Amber body, white head. Lots of caramel, and some booze, roastyness, orange zest and floral hops in the aroma. Caramel dominates the taste too, with some bread, roasted malts and a hint of floral hops. Medium bodied beer with oily texture and warming alcohol.Pretty nice.

Bottle from bierzwerg.de. Chestnut color with medium beige head. Strong aroma of roasted malt, caramel, honey. Taste, roasted malt, burned sugar, bee wax, fruitiness, some herbs. Nice bitterness in finish. Alcohol is well hidden. Tasty.

Bottle @ Pivni Rozmanitost, Prague. Pours amber with a small White head and lacings. Bubblegum, esters, yeast, bread and caramel. Mild Warmth. Medium bodied.

Bottle. Big vineous honey aroma, roast and fruit. Cloudy amber, lowish offwhite head. Powerfull preserved fruit, madeira, christmas cake flavorbase. Full range of ester, goes a bit to the head, good citric and mintlike hop finish. Fullbodied, light fruity stickyness. Rumtopf aftertaste. Solid beer.
