Brewed with Pilsner and Cystal malts massively hopped in in the continuous fashion. The flavor is complimented by the addition of Apricots. After fermentation the beer is dry hopped with irresponsible amounts of Amarillo hops.

Bottle, 12oz. A clear one, dark golden in color and topped by a dense, finger-thick white head. Apricots and generic tropical fruits in the aroma, as well as some maltyness and pine cones. Orange notes too. Soft carbonation, quite dry on the palate, full body. Oranges and apricots in the flavor, with a pleasant level of bitterness. Lasting fruity finish with a little bitterness. An easy drinkable and quite tasteful IPA, with a twist. 130805

Nice creamy longlasting head. Aroma is slightly fruity, hops, dried fruits, leafs, grass, light malts, caramel, pine needles. Taste is slightly grassy, wet leafs, grass, pine needles, dried fruits, hay. Medium bitterness, slightly dry mouthfeel. Nice, but I can’t really say I feel the apricot directly in it, more like dried fruits in general.

On tap at Local Republic. Gold color, with a small, bubbly head. The aroma is citrus hops, grains, and apricots. Fruity and bitter flavor. Medium body, and a little watery. Overall, this is a fairly good fruit IPA.

Refrigerated 12 oz. brown bottle poured into a white wine glass. Pours clear light amber with medium off-white head. Some lacing, medium body, medium carbonation, and light apricot aroma. Taste is long herbal hops and some apricot. Meld well, but it is not my thing.

Bottle. 2006 vintage enjoyed in early 2013. Hazy amber liquid with small off-white head. Aroma of apples, apricots, caramel, biscuit, port, toffee and dried fruit. Taste is light sweet and light bitter with notes of biscuit, apricot, apples and port. Medium bodied with low to medium carbonation. Wow, much better than I expected. Thought this would be horrible at 7 years old.

Dégustée en fût au Dieu du Ciel. Nez de houblon floral, légèrement herbeux et aux notes citriques (pamplemousse), malté de caramel doux et fruité sucré (abricots et notes d’agrumes). Moyenne-ronde en bouche avec un pétillement moyen et une texture mi-huileuse mi-sirupeuse. Goût moyennement amer de houblon floral aux notes citrique (pamplemousse) et fruité (abricots, léger d’agrumes sucrées) lors de l’entrée en bouche suivi d’un goût malté de caramel sucré et en finale l’amertume de houblon, plus herbeuse, reprend le dessus avec quelques traces d’alcool doux. Post-goût long et un peu sec, moyennement amer de houblon herbeux, floral et aux notes citriques avec un goût fruité d’abricots et d’agrumes.
