Аромат сильный, хотя градусов всего лишь 8. Прежде всего много какао, как и всегда у этой пиваоварни, также сладкий шоколад тут, хоть и пишут что Бельгийский, но ощущается как просто черный с какао бобами большого количества, немного ванили. Цвет черный, текстура маслянистая, пенка есть, она кофейная. Вкус немного маслянистый и при этом сладкий, хоть и есть небольшая сухоть от шоколада и какао. При глотке ванили больше, снова маслянистость и добавляется весьма продолжительная горечь. В целом ожидал большего, хоть при таких градусах и неплохо.

[February 2023] Near black with a frothy tan head and sweet chocolate on the nose, with just a hint of charred wood. Thick bodied with rich, roasted malt and sweet chocolate flavours and a dry finish.

330ml can. Blank with a thick tan head. Aroma is coffee, chocolate, leather. Flavour is sweet chocolate and caramel, with a little spice and raisins in the finish. Lovely thick texture

11/4/2023. Tap at Victorian Craft Beer Cafe, Halifax. Pours thick black with a small tan coloured head. Aroma of dark chocolate, cocoa, sweet roasted malt, caramel, vanilla, touch of spice. Medium plus sweetness and light to moderate bitterness. Full bodied, smooth, super thick, low carbonation. Probably the thickest sub 10% beer I’ve ever had the pleasure of. Lovely.

330 ml can. Pours black with full nitro like tan head. Aromas of chocolate fudge, vanilla, and slick roasted malts. Rich chocolate cake and fudge flavors, with additional treacle, vanilla and smooth roasted malts. Excellent chocolate stout. But you’ve got to love chocolate!

33cl can (canned: 30/11/22; BB: 30/11//23) from Etre Gourmet web shop. F: big, dark tanned, long lasting. C: black, opaque. A: really genuine dark chocolate, chocolate sauce, vanilla, dark fruits, cocoa, roasted tones, not so complex but intensive and delicious. T: full malty base, oily mouthfeel, full of chocolate, cocoa, vanilla, dark fruits, milky tones, nutty, toffee touch, coffee touch, soft to medium carbonation, really great brew imagine 10hr Boil, fully enjoyed.
