Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has strong notes of smoke, medium notes of malt, and lighter notes of tar and bacon. The flavor is sweet malty with lighter notes of smoke and tar. The body is light.

Bottle. It pours a slightly dark, golden body with a small, dense, off-white head. Looking quite pretty. The aroma has smoked malt, some banana-like fruityness, caramel and some pale malt. Smoked and oaked flavor with some vanilla indicating the oaking. Malty sweetness too. Medium to full body. Slightly sweet finish with some bitterness. Quite nice, but not outstanding. Pleasant smoke-level. (081110)

Bottle at the brewpub in Aalborg
Cloudy amber color. Very strange but nice aroma, smokey and cheesy (like the mold of Saint Augur, a common French blue cheese), very strong. It has a medium-light body, with a pleasant but thin smokey flavor and caramel. Going downhill, the final is quite empty, maybe some more sweetness would have helped.

Cloudy amber with a small white head. Grainy malt and bacon aroma. Sweet malty flavour with a little smoke, and a touch of drying tannin in the finish.
