From bottle @ EBF 2008. Dark brown color. Cherry, wood and caramel in the aroma. Cherry sweets, caramel and some tartness in the flavor. Well made beer.

Bottled. Deep ambery brown colour with a small beige head. Aroma is wooden, mild vanilla along with some sour wood and mild burnt sugary notes as well. Flavour is burnt sugary sweetness hitting a somewhat sour wooden and resiny flavour along with some nutty notes as well.

Bottled. A dark brown beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt and caramel, leading to a lightly bitter finish.

Bottle. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Brown colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Farin present. Light sweet and moderate bitter flavor. Strong chocolate and hopps notes. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate.

Bottle. Huge head with excellent duration. Color is brown. Aroma and taste are rich with nuts and lots of roast malt. One of the best brown ales for me.

Bottle at EBF 2008, Copenhagen, Denmark. Clear medium to dark amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light light heavy malty, roasted, moderate hoppy, grapefruit. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. 120908

Brown with a small off-white head. Fruity aroma with citrus and dried dark fruits blending. Dried fruits in a rather sweet flavour, but balanced by a little tannin. Well done!

Bottle at EBF08. Sweet and spicy aroma. Cloudy very dark brown colour. Some yeast, hint of liquorice. Not bad.
