Bottle. Color: Huge white head. lightly hazy golden. Aroma: Fruity, oak wood, subtle spicy. Taste: Spicy, sweet and tart but more sweet (moderate) than tart (light). Also moderate (fruity) bitterness. Grape skin, grape most, oak wood. A lot of tannins. Some overripe sweet and sour apple and honey hints. Dry mouthfeel. Medium body, below average carbonation. Interesting.

Huge, dense, just off-white head over metallic-clear, copperish golden beer, lively carbonated. Very discreetly sulphury, peach, fines herbes, sweet sherry. Again sherry, with a light sourish touch - not-quite-sour. Sour peach, maraschino cherry. Finish has a dry, almost bitter character - the whole is very well-balanced. Light body, well carbonated, refreshing, and despite its easy drinkability, quite complex.This IS good! By far the best I've ever had from Gistgeest. More of this, please! Txs to Stef!
