Ganz OK. /11/10/12//11

Lovely clear dark red brown with a large light brown head. Sweet caramel, malty, wheaty, dried fruit and a little yeast as well as the usual banana flavor. Full bodied with a soft and round mouthfeel. 150111

dark dark brown, thick smooth light brown head. aroma is fruity, roasted grains, faint soap. flavor is roasted grains, sweetness, alc, liucorice, very flavorfull, almost like a thin porter. wheat mellows the bock flavor. nice!

Bottled@Örsted. Very dark, close to black, colour, mediumsized beige fluffy head. Aroma is wheat, dark fruits and some notes of banana and alcohol. Flavour is quite much the same. Not as roasted as the Sort Hvede.

Draft in Indslev HvedeBock glass. Almost no arome. A very nick a refreshing Wheat/Bock.

On tap at Lord Nelson. Pours a dark, dark brown with a light brown head. Aroma was malty with spices as well. Flavor was a sweet malt with an undertone of some spices. For me its average at best.

220ml draught. Compact, dark-rusty body topped by a fragile layer. Except for a very mild touch of banana, it is hard to discern any aroma at all. It is also rather poor in taste – some hints of toffee, banana and anise. Hidden alcohol. Soft mouthfeel and medium bodied (Lord Nelson, Copenhagen 11.09.2008).

Hazy dark brown color, small beige head. Very light wheaty nose - not much banana in it - grainy. Sweetish caramelly, light alcohol flavors. Not wheaty or interesting enough ... oily light banana.
