12 oz can, 4/4/23. Decided to break this out on the first decidedly non-sweater weather day of the year here in NJ, but what would probably still be sweater weather for most in TX. Pours a darker brownish color, slightly tan head, strong lace. Dark fruit, Belgian candied sugar. Quite sweet. Malt. A good bit of booziness. Weird beer. So sweet. Not so much of a winter warmer as a winter sugar comaer.

A treat from PB, thanks man! Aromas are dark malt, Belgian yeast and a little bit of roast. Flavors are somewhat similar to nose, with good balance between bitter, sweet and carbonation. Not double fermented. Drinkable beer.

Can from Tavour. Pours quite dark but not black. Creamy/frothy tan head. Aroma of dark malt with a very slight note of banana. Med body at least. Flavor is dark malt with some sort of non-clove spice and a light banana note. Not dry/not sticky. Bitter enough. With time the spice seems like clove.

Half pour at Bearded Monk in Denton. Dark but not quite black. Clear pour. Thin, lathery, cocoa head. Smell is dusty, toasty oats, nuts, pie crust. Taste is cola, mild spice, chocolate milk, faint chai spice. Thin, persistent acidity, low abv feel. Good.
