Bottle at home. Pours black, nose is chocolate, nutty, caramel, vanilla, coconut, almond, taste is similar, sweet, honey.

Aromas are toast, dark malt with a little black patent. Flavors are similar to nose but I've had alfajores in Argentina many times and this doesn't taste anything like that. This pastry stout is pretty decent, good balance but wrong to call it the name of that cookie.

50cl bottle pours a thick, oily black, no head. Nose is mild. Sweet condensed milk and chocolate. 6 3 7 3 12

Pours a thick, oily black, with small, lasting tan head. Aroma is nuts, vanilla, coconut. Flavor follows, with chocolate, dark fruit, some coffee. Very, very sweet and decadent. ABV is well-hidden. Thick mouthfeel. Yum.
